About NCLCV

For more than 40 years, under our former name Conservation Council of NC, the North Carolina League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV) has worked to turn your environmental values into North Carolina priorities.

We know that many of the important decisions that impact the environment are made by politicians. That is why it is critically important to monitor and influence legislation at the North Carolina General Assembly, hold legislators accountable for their environmental decisions, and work to elect people who care about the environment to office. We are your eyes and ears at the legislature.

NCLCV works at the General Assembly to pass laws to protect the air you breathe, water you drink, and the health of the community in which you live. And we work, through the Conservation PAC, to elect candidates to the General Assembly who will prioritize environmental protection.
